The UK product certification symbol UKCA, as shown in the right image 1, has been registered in the Chinese market by the private company "Shenzhen Shence Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd." It is recommended that manufacturers review their product labels to avoid trademark disputes in China. To prevent such issues, it is advised to remove the symbol shown in the lower image 1 and instead use the European Union's CE symbol to enter the UK market for sales.
On August 1, 2023, the UK announced an indefinite extension for the acceptance of the CE symbol for 18 types of products entering the UK market. Therefore, using the CE mark to enter the UK market would currently be a better approach that considers both the Chinese and UK markets.
